A brief history
Over the last 10 years, the Laboratory of Physicochemistry of Polymers and Interfaces (LPPI, CY Cergy Paris Université /CY) and the SensorLab (University of the Western Cape/UWC) have developed joint research projects in the fields of polymer and electrochemistry. Based on this extended collaboration and in agreement with each center’s scientific development strategy, both Universities have decided to deepen their scientific partnership, by creating an International Associated Laboratory (IALab) called the Sensors and Energy International Laboratory, SENERGYLAB, which will allow to implement a four-year integrated research project fostering research synergies.
